Embry‑Riddle Student-Led Startup Competition Showcases Innovations in Sustainability, Drone Tech and Automation For Dillon Rosenthal, winning the $15,000 top prize at Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University’s Launch Your Venture competition means he can move forward on recycling and selling the six hundred pounds of cracked pickleballs sitting in his garage.

During his summer internship at Allegiant, alumnus Tyler DeZell (’26) gained clarity, specialized skills and valuable experience in Aviation Business Administration.

Thanks to his courses, Tyler is equipped with the technical skills, industry knowledge and professionalism necessary to stand out in a competitive field as he soars to new heights after graduation.

In exciting news, a team of student researchers from Embry‑Riddle has advanced to the finals of NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Gateways to Blue Skies Competition for the second year in a row.

As a result, they become one of eight teams chosen to vie for positions as interns with NASA’s Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate in the prestigious contest.

Shoutout to Team Minion, which joined forces with senior Mechanical Engineering students for an international autonomous robotic boat competition, where they came home with several top awards. 🏆

Hosted by RoboNation, the students competed against 37 teams from around the world.
