HBCU Records was formed in 2015 by the Mike Curb Music Business, Entertainment & Sports Institute at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
It is a student-run record label that provides students “real world experience in real time” to participate in all label activities such as A&R, publicity, marketing & promotions, social media, record production and distribution.
