Where can you find us this week?

This week you have a few opportunities to connect with us out in the community.

Come check out our Learning Mobile when we pull up at the New Smyrna Library on Wednesday 6/10 from 10AM-12PM.

Then on 6/11 Thursday evening you can find us at Embry Riddle for the Chamber Mega Mixer & Expo from 4-7PM. Come by and gather free community resources.

On Saturday 6/13 we are hoping all families will join us at our Summer Resource Fair from 11AM-2PM that's being hosted at the Salvation Army on LPGA. Families can get free resources from many community partners, enjoy some free food and games for the whole family to enjoy!

Have you heard of Volusia County Public Library’s Lit Kits to Go service? Lit Kits to Go are customizable take-home kits for children in grades 5 and under. Weekly kits may include library books, activities, and other educational materials intended to keep children reading and engaged in learning. Lit Kits to Go may be requested using the online Lit Kit Registration form or at any branch.

Children 18 and under can receive free breakfast and lunch at 12 Volusia County Public Library branches through Summer BreakSpot, a federally funded summer meals program running June 1 through Aug. 7. The program provides nutritious meals at no cost while school is out for the summer. Meals are available Monday through Friday unless otherwise noted. All sites will be closed July 3 in observance of Independence Day.

Breakfast: 9 to 10 a.m.; lunch: noon to 1 p.m.

• Hope Place Public Library, 1310 Wright St.
