Great news...the smoke detectors have been installed only a week after signing the proposal.
I said that to the electrician and he said someone must have been praying! He was right. 🙂 Thank you.
Lord willing we will open on September 12.
There is still an inspection.

These dear ladies from of the Daytona Beach Alumni Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority cleaned the Center last Saturday getting ready for school on the August 15th.

However, before we can open, we need to replace the smoke detectors, they are on order, but are hard find due to the age of the system and the lack of "chips" in the U.S.

Please pray with us that Giles Electric can find some.

Just a reminder that grocery bags are available on Friday at 625 South Street, Rose Marie Bryon Children's Center. 😊

It has been a while since we have posted, but this summer we have been preparing food bags to pick up on Fridays for the weekend.
If you are in need, you can stop by from 9-12 on Friday and pick up some bags depending on how many children you have. :)

This happened a couple of weekends ago. We had much mulch and many helping hands. Thanks to the Christ Communit Church youth group and the college group. It looks beautiful.
