The Center for Business & Industry is offering an eight-week Nail Specialty course beginning June 8. In this hands-on program, students train in CBI’s professional Nail Specialty Lab while gaining the skills needed to meet Florida state licensure requirements.
Taught by licensed, experienced instructors, the course covers everything from manicures and pedicures to acrylic and gel enhancements, nail art and design, and sanitation and safety practices. Students also learn about HIV/AIDS awareness, customer service and the business basics needed to succeed in a salon environment. Small class sizes mean personalized instruction and plenty of real-world practice.
