👶💗 Another Little Eagle is preparing to join the nest! 🦅 At Embry-Riddle, we know some of life's most important moments happen outside of work. Our paid parental leave benefit gives eligible employees time away to welcome a new child, bond as a family, and focus on this exciting new chapter.

We're thrilled to celebrate Archie D**g, who will soon be welcoming a baby girl to his family! Archie, we wish you and your growing family lots of love, happiness, and plenty of memorable moments together.

Our recent Heart Walk Kickoff was the perfect way to get moving for a great cause. Employees danced, tested their heart health with complimentary blood pressure checks, challenged themselves with heart health trivia, and connected with colleagues—all while learning how they can make a difference.

Recently, Assistant Professor Jason Jacobs received a thoughtful gift from a former MA222 student, a custom novelty license plate inspired by one of the many memorable examples he has shared in class over the past 20 years.

What began as a classroom discussion about "the one true mean weight of tigers" and license plate examples became a lasting memory for a student who, years later, wanted to say thank you in a unique way.

It's moments like these that remind us that the impact of great teaching often extends far beyond graduation. At Embry-Riddle, we're proud of the meaningful connections our faculty build with students, connections that last a lifetime.

For 25 years, Kimberly Reed has been part of the Embry-Riddle story, helping students begin theirs. 🦅

Over the past quarter century, Kimberly has welcomed thousands of students to ERAU, helping them navigate one of the most important journeys of their lives. From seeing campus grow from the days of the "Alphabet Soup" buildings to watching generations of Eagles cross the commencement stage, she's experienced firsthand the lasting impact of higher education.

One of her proudest moments came a little closer to home. Through Embry-Riddle's educational benefits, Kimberly's daughter became the first college graduate in their family, earning both a bachelor's and master's degree from ERAU before launching a career with Northrop Grumman's Space sector. 🎓

For Kimberly, Embry-Riddle has always been more than a workplace, it's been a community where colleagues become family and every employee plays a role in helping students achieve their dreams.

That includes incredible students like Aliana Kovach, a graduate student and member of our Student Employment team, who recently presented her research at the Summer Research Symposium.

Supporting students doesn't stop in the classroom. Our Director of Student Employment, Jackie McNamee, was proud to be there to cheer Aliana on as she shared her work, a wonderful example of the mentorship, encouragement, and lifelong connections that make the Embry-Riddle community so special.
