If you are like me, time tends to creep away unexpectedly when you have so much to do! This is a gentle reminder that we are less than 1 month away from closing our call for proposals to participate in the JCT's annual Bergamo 2022 Conference on Curriculum Theory and Classroom Practice. The submission date is August 5, 2022!
This year's conference will be held on October 13-15, 2022, at the Bergamo Conference Center in Dayton, Ohio.
This year's theme is "Living in the Shadows of Freedom," which invites us to examine the notion of freedom during times of grave and direct challenges to our democracy. As emerging curriculum studies scholars and practitioners, this year's theme asks us to interrogate our concepts of freedom and dismantle inequities and injustices while dreaming and building anew through our scholarship. The Bergamo Conference offers emerging scholars the opportunity to sit with noted scholars in the field to think and converse about these issues critically.
