Ohio’s state robotics tournaments have come to an end. For the fourth year in a row Barnesville Robotics will be represented at the Vex World Championships in Dallas TX! Three teams competed this weekend.

99656B - MS team. Posted an impressive 5th place score in skills, their best of the season! This score was good enough to qualify them to worlds, but they weren’t done. After finishing qualifying rounds ranked 2nd in the field of 58, they took it all the way to the state finals, finishing as state runner up!

99656A - MS team posted a skills score that would see them ranked 7th in the state on the day. A solid score that earned them one of the 15 coveted spots at Vex worlds!

34872A - HS team had a rough start but finished with a respectable 4-4 record, good enough to be 25th ranked in the division. They made the tournament round and were defeated in the round of 16, bringing an end to an otherwise fantastic season.

Updates and changes to the robots are already underway as we start working towards Vex Worlds! I’m beyond proud of the work these kids have put in this year and it has paid off. See you at Worlds! 🤖🇺🇸🌎
