Some friendly reminders as we enter into spring...
One being to slowly integrate their equine friends on the fresh spring grass.
Another is to pick your horses feet often. With the wet soggy conditions of spring comes thrush and other undesirables in your horses feet.
A third thing is this time of year we work very long hours to make sure all of our clients needs are met in a timely manner. With shows and other equine events starting to open up we are extremely busy. Be patient. Your horse is just as important to the farrier as the next horse. We work set hours for a reason. We need time in the day for our backs and hands to recover from the long day of shoeing previous. Most farriers are up and working before the sun is up and they don’t pack up their truck until the sun is down.

With that being said I hope everyone has an amazing spring! Remember to pick your horses hooves and be kind to your farrier.
