Rhea County Schools are planning an early dismissal on Friday, September 18th, 2026. The RCHS football team is scheduled to travel to White Pine to take on Lakeway Christian Academy and the travel time and distance requires an early dismissal to give the players, band, cheerleaders, students, and families to arrive on time for the game. Schools will dismiss at 12:30 pm and Pre-K students will dismiss at 11:30 pm. All students will be served lunch prior to dismissal.
