James is the founding executive director of Bottom Line Ohio, serving 550+ students on the path from college success to career. The MVS lower school closing ceremony was a celebration of community! Highlights included recognition of the fifth grade class as they move up to middle school, performances by lower school ensembles, and the presentation of awards to students in all grades for exemplary display of the MVS core values: integrity, celebration, grit, and kindness. There were big smiles and lots of talent on display at the MVS middle school closing ceremony! Highlights included recognition of the eighth grade class as they move up to upper school, the presentation of core value awards, and performances by middle school ensembles. The MVS Power of the Pen team earned multiple awards at the state tournament! Three writers qualified for the tournament: Leila ’31, Aashi ’31, and Saanvi ’31.

🏆 Leila finished THIRD in the state in the seventh grade division out of 236 writers. She earned an additional Best of Round award for her story “Click.”
🏆 Aashi also won a Best of Round award for her story “Too Late to Save Him”

Best of Round awards are given to the top piece of writing on a particular prompt out of all writers across the competition. Only four of these awards are given, and MVS writers came away with two! Congratulations to the team and their coach, Ms. McGrail!

Lower school Field Day provided an energetic end to the school year! From relay races to tug-of-war, our students in grades 1-5 demonstrated the MVS core values of integrity, celebration, grit, and kindness through friendly competition. Swipe through for photos of the day!

Blind Architecture Student Walks Graduation Stage with Beloved Guide Dog After Earning Her Master’s Degree (Exclusive) Nola Timmins, who was declared legally blind at age 5, earned her master’s degree in architecture from the University of Virginia with her guide dog Brizzy by her side. Timmins, now 24, exclusively told PEOPLE that Brizzy has been in her life since she was 17.
