Day 4 of our Raiders First Middle School STEM Camp! 🚀🔬
Students strengthened their time management skills, explored the connection between math and engineering with the and special guest speaker Dr. Baudendistel, and put their teamwork and determination to the test through competitive games of wheelchair basketball and adaptive volleyball with .
Students also had the opportunity to dive into Health STEM with the and .prehealth using human simulators and a bone box to explore careers in healthcare.
Every experience this week is designed to expose students to new academic and career pathways, helping them discover their strengths, expand their horizons, and see what is possible for their future.

Day 3 of our Raiders First Middle School STEM Camp, students sharpened their professional communication skills by practicing email etiquette, put their statistical thinking to the test through exciting Minute-to-Win-It challenges with , explored the Arcade Room and Campus Recreation facilities, and dove into the world of robotics and computer science in our Visualization Lab with . 🦾🤖💚💛

🔬🌳🎮 Day 2 of our Raiders First Middle School STEM Camp was filled with exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning!
Students strengthened their understanding of emotional intelligence, put their graphing skills to the test by using coordinates to locate buried treasure in the sand volleyball courts, explored the exciting world of gaming and technology in our e-sports suite with , and discovered the wonders of biology during an interactive walk through the campus woods with .
Every activity helps students build confidence, develop new skills, and see the many ways STEM connects to the world around them. We love watching these future innovators learn, grow, and have fun along the way!

🚀 What an incredible first day of the Raiders First Middle School STEM Camp!
Our campers kicked off the week with a campus tour led by Admissions, explored real-world applications of mathematics with the College of Science and Math, challenged themselves at the Campus Climbing Gym with Campus Recreation, and wrapped up the day with an exciting materials engineering session featuring a liquid nitrogen experiment from the College of Engineering and Computer Science. 🔬🧗‍♀️❄️
These hands-on experiences give local students the opportunity to explore academic pathways and discover future career possibilities. Most importantly, they help empower students to envision their future, recognize their potential and build college readiness.
We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store! 💚💛
