The Musical Theatre Initiative at Wright State University celebrates and explores the history, culture and craft of the world's most popular theatre form through conferences, concerts, teaching intensives and special events. MTI serves the Wright State University, Dayton regional community, national and international artistic and scholarly community. MTI is unique in its rotating yearlong focuses

on specific aspects of the Musical Theatre. From 'The American Popular Song', 'Pop and Rock Musicals', and the upcoming 'Legacies' celebration of performance, directing and choreography, and theatrical design for the Musical Theatre.
