Ruskin Elementary School is a Neighborhood School Center and a part of the Dayton Public school district.

Parents, check-in with your students. Is their attendance on track? If your student has missed 11 or fewer days, they are on track. On-track students are more likely to succeed academically, graduate high school, and attend college. If your student is not on track, they can still get back on track today by attending school or logging in daily for remote learning. The more students attend, the more they achieve.

Remember, all students will return to virtual learning on January 4. Elementary school will take place from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and middle and high school will take place from 9 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.

Student meals pick-up is still available over break! Families may pick up meals from the existing 8 pick up locations during the extended holiday break on December 2, 9, and 16.

Monday August 31 8:00-12:00

Wednesday September 2 10:00-6:00
Friday September 4 8:00-12:00
All Ruskin students will receive a Chromebook and a Ready-pack.
Distribution will take place in the gym. Please enter through the side door on McClure St.
Please use social distancing when in lines.

Home | DPS Safe School Restart A decision has been made to resume regular, in-person classes for the 2020-2021 school year. School for all grade levels will begin one week later than originally planned. The first day of school will be Monday, August 17, 2020.
