✨ Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Margaret Lehman, Ed.D. ✨

Since joining Lourdes University’s Division of Education in 2020, Dr. Lehman has made a powerful impact. With a career spanning early childhood to higher education, she brings research, experience, and a deep commitment to literacy and equity into every classroom.

Dr. Lehman teaches both undergraduate and graduate education courses, with a focus on reading foundations, phonics, assessment, and advanced literacy. Her current research examines how student attitudes influence reading in content areas and how the Science of Reading affects learning outcomes.

Beyond the classroom, she shares her expertise nationally and statewide, contributing to professional associations such as the Society for Information Technology in Teacher Education (SITE) and the Ohio Department of Higher Education.

We are proud of Dr. Lehman’s dedication to preparing future teachers and advancing equity in education.

The people of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati are invited to join Archbishop Robert G. Casey in remembering and praying for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis.

Four Memorial Masses for Pope Francis will be celebrated by Archbishop Casey throughout the archdiocese during thirty days of mourning.

Monday, April 28 at 7 p.m., St. Michael Church, Ft. Loramie
Monday, May 5 at 7 p.m., St. Francis of Assisi Church, Centerville
Monday, May 12 at 7 p.m. (Spanish), Immaculate Conception Church, Dayton
Wednesday, May 21 at 7 p.m., Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains, Cincinnati

Throughout these thirty days the faithful are encouraged to pray that Pope Francis may enter the Kingdom of his Heavenly Father.
