Ann Guiney is active as a performer and teacher. She holds a Masters Degree in Music in vocal performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. She is a mezzo-soprano who enjoys performing classical repertoire mixed with occasional musical theater. Ann has served as Director of Performing Arts at River Tree Arts in Kennebunk. Ann often adjudicates national and local vocal competitions and au

ditions. She maintains a busy voice studio both privately and at River Tree Arts. Her students have appeared withMaine State Music Theater, Our Theatre Company, Ogunquit Playhouse, Boston Children’sTheater, Maine All-State Chorus, Portland Players, Portland Lyric, Boston Children’s Chorus,and the Boys Singers of Maine.

Run don’t walk to see Shrek at Sanford High School! I see more theater than anyone else I know and this is a show you don’t want to miss! I’m so proud of my voice student Aberdeen! What an incredible singer you have become!

Congratulations to Konner Tarbox! Last night On Golden Pond opened at City Theater in Biddeford. I am so excited to see him in this show- and hope you will join me in getting tickets to support this local production. Konner is an eighth grader at Massabesic Middle School and has studied voice for five years. He was recently selected to the Maine Jr. All- State Chorus.

Friday night December 3rd is opening night for Miracle on 34th Street! So pleased for Juliet Rice who is making her City Theater debut as Susan Walker in this classic Christmas story. Tickets are selling quickly, be sure to get yours soon!

Another great show this month was Newsies at Kennebunk High School. This show was filled with current and former students, many Twin City Theater Alum, and actors from Consolidated- a treat to see so many familiar faces! Congratulations to you all!
