Attention future trapshooters! You MUST have your WA Hunters Safety Certificate to shoot with us. If you plan to do trap this year and do not have your cert yet here is an opportunity.

Are you or your child ready to hunt, but need to take a class to get a license? The 2026 Fall Hunter Ed class starts August 10th at the 1st Church of God on Diagonal and Sycamore in Clarkston. To be able to attend this FREE course you will need to register online. We have information packets to pick up at our Sporting Goods counter that have all the info you need.

Some important info:
- Students must attend all of the classes NO EXCEPTIONS
- DO NOT bring fi****ms to class
- Parents of students 11 or younger must attend classes with their child
- This class will cover fi****ms and outdoor safety, wildlife management, and hunter responsibility. It may be difficult for younger students.

This class is free thanks to Schurman's Hardware, The State of Washington, and the volunteer instructors.

If you have any questions they can be answered by picking up the informational packet at our sporting goods counter.

📸 Picture Day is Coming! Make Your Thank You Photo Count! 🐖🐑🐐🐄

Every exhibitor will receive “Thank You for Purchasing My Animal” cards to hand to their buyer after the sale. Many of our buyers proudly display these cards in their businesses and offices, so let’s make sure your photo reflects the hard work you’ve put into your project!

Here are a few tips for taking the perfect thank-you photo:

✅ Wear your show clothes. Dress just like you would for the show ring.

✅ Take the photo in LANDSCAPE (horizontal) mode. This is the correct format for our thank-you cards.

✅ Include your entire animal. Make sure your animal’s head, body, legs, and feet are all visible in the photo.

✅ Be in the picture! Stand with your animal so both you and your project are the focus.

✅ Present a clean, show-ready animal. Wash, brush, and fit your animal just as you would for judging.

✅ Choose a clean background. Avoid vehicles, clutter, or distractions that take away from your project.

✅ Smile! Your buyer is supporting months of dedication and hard work—let your pride shine through!
