Well... This stinks. For everyone's situation awareness, this morning we have had to implement a temporary fuel surcharge of $4 an hour. DAS and the airpark are optimistic this fuel rate will only be for a very short time.

"HIGHER, ORVILLE, HIGHER!"
On this day in Aviation History: Orville Wright famously flew with his 82-year-old father, Bishop Milton Wright, on May 25, 1910, at Huffman Prairie. The nearly seven-minute flight reached an altitude of about 350 feet, prompting the elderly Milton to gleefully shout over the engine, "Higher, Orville. Higher!"
Also on this day, Wilbur and Orville fly together for the only time in a six-and-one-half minute flight.
