At Dayton Vintage Dance, we socially dance many types of historical and modern dances. The history of dance is loaded with really cool dances!
Our emphasis is typically on having fun with partnered social dances, but we also do set dances, circle dances, line dances, and solo dances as well. We teach them in a fun-filled environment, we dance to modern music as well as traditional. We just like to be DANCING!

Our club Birthday tradition, everyone dances with the one, this time it was our teacher!
Usually we line up, but sine this was Salsa Rueda del Casino month, we kept the Rueda wheel. Happy Birthday Gianluca, -dancing with his partner Elizebeth at the end ❤️

Cuban Salsa “Rueda de Casino”.
“The “wheel of chance”? It’s not related to gambling. The name casino comes from the social club known as “club casino deportivo” in Havana where it was created. It was not a gambling club in the sense of what a casino means in America. These were upper class athletic and social clubs”.
