Situated on roughly 2000 acres on the top of Dayton Mountain ten miles from Dayton, Tennessee, Laurelbrook operates a 9-12 grade boarding high-school level program, an elementary school for staff students, and a 50-bed state-approved nursing home, and a large truck garden. Sutherland Educational Association or EASEA, a state-chartered educational accrediting agency.

Construction is officially underway on the foundation of our 4th shed!

Sharing some special moments from our LBA Campout! ✨

Last weekend, LBA students, staff, and friends traveled together to Gee Creek for an unforgettable weekend of fellowship, worship, adventure, and fun. We enjoyed the beauty of nature, shared meaningful activities, and created memories that will stay with us for years to come.

We’re so grateful for everyone who made this weekend so special. Here’s to the friendships, laughter, and moments we’ll always remember!

As part of our vocational program, students participate in six different sections, including Environmental Services. Through the Nursing Home laundry service, students learn how to properly and safely wash, sort, fold, classify, and distribute clothing and linens while gaining valuable responsibility and workplace skills.

Today, we are excited to share a short video featuring Mabel, one of our students, demonstrating how to properly fold a bed pad. Great job, Mabel!

Yesterday, our Book Club enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of pizza, books, and great company! 🍕📚 We shared our thoughts on different books, explored a variety of topics, and talked about what we’d like to read next. It was a fun time and we’re already looking forward to our next gathering!
