We are excited to celebrate Daniel Link as he has just wrapped up his internship with Branch Technology in Chattanooga, TN!

Branch Technology is a 3d printing company revolutionizing the fabricating process, by combining additive manufacturing, prefabrication, and digital technology at construction scale.

We’re proud of Daniel and grateful for organizations like Branch Technology that invest in the next generation. Opportunities like this continue Bryan College's mission to educate students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world.

Inside BCMAA | Advisors Scott and Ruth Ann Shamblin

"We serve at Bryan College Martial Arts Academy because we believe Christ should be honored in every arena of life—including how we train, lead, and grow young men and women. BCMAA gives us the opportunity to invest in the instructors and students not only as martial artists, but as disciples of Christ who are learning discipline, humility, courage and leadership skills. What drives us is seeing them reach their God‑given potential and watching their confidence rise as they persevere through challenge. Being part of that transformation is a privilege, and we are grateful to serve in a place where faith and training walk hand in hand."

Why BCMAA? 🦁

“It's a community that I know I can always rely on. Yes, the martial arts is great, but I have made some of my best friends on the team, and I will be forever grateful for it.”

Joseph Bagley | BCMAA Member | Christian Ministry

Culture is so important to us, and Joseph has contributed to the growing of the BCMAA community. His love for the Lord and his passion for ministry have complimented our love for building a tight knit community in pursuit of Jesus. We are thankful for his leadership on the team!

We are looking for students just like Joseph who want to blend ministry with their passions. Athletics scholarships are available to students with or without experience.

Inside BCMAA | Advisor David Holcomb

"BCMAA is about much more than martial arts.

It is a place where students learn to become peacemakers—developing the confidence, discipline, and character to lead with strength and wisdom. In a world that often teaches people to react, we teach them how to respond with purpose.

What makes BCMAA unique is the combination of faith and martial arts. Students grow physically, mentally, and spiritually while building relationships that last far beyond their college years.

For many young martial artists, college can be the end of their training journey. BCMAA creates a pathway for them to continue developing their skills, stay connected to a martial arts community, and pursue their education at the same time.

Part of why this mission resonates so deeply with me is simple: I believe everyone deserves to feel safe. Life has taught me that some people use their strength to intimidate, control, or harm others. That reality did not create a desire in me to fight—it created a desire to protect. When I talk about standing up to bullies, I am talking about helping others know their value and creating environments where people can thrive without fear.

Most importantly, inspiration matters. Every class is an opportunity to encourage students to love, protect, and support others. We want our students to be people who stand up for those around them, help end bullying, and make a positive difference wherever God leads them.

Martial arts taught me that true strength is not found in hurting people. It is found in protecting them. That mission is why teaching the next generation of protectors matters to me!"

Inside BCMAA | Associate Director Camille Holley

"Part of what I get to do here is leadership development with our students, and I get the honor of sitting individually with many of them to hear their stories. In this time we discuss what it means to lead like Jesus, and how we can practically serve and elevate those around us. Leadership is more than just authority and title, it is intentionally building into people. My heart is for them to grasp how precious they are to Jesus, and the impact they can make as leaders when they are rooted in that.

is more than just martial arts, we are a gateway for students to understand the eternal impact their lives have. Much of my time at Bryan has consisted of people intentionally speaking life into me, and one of our goals with this academy is to continue to remind students Whose they are and guide them into who they are becoming.

Being a young leader is a gift, but being a young leader with people around you dedicated to your growth is priceless."

Why BCMAA? 🦁

“I chose BCMAA because it felt like home. The leadership is very similar to my previous academy in that they have a passion for the martial arts, but also a passion for Jesus. I am in a place where I can continue training martial arts surrounded by people who care about me and my walk with God.”

Caden Kirk | BCMAA Member | The Wheeler Academy

Each student has a unique why for choosing Bryan and Caden is no exception. Starting his martial arts journey with The Wheeler Academy, Caden came in with an extensive foundation and has helped raise the standard of training, contributing to both the skill and fight IQ of our team as a whole.

We are looking for other passionate students like Caden who would be interested in pursuing leadership development through martial arts during their time at college. Athletics scholarships are available to students with or without experience.
