The seedling Foundation of Dayton, OH is a non-profit organization with the mission to support the students and art programs at Stivers School for the Arts.
We believe in the value of arts education. Why? Because we witness that value spring to life every day in studio and classroom. Put simply, students immersed in the arts perform better in academics and in life. We work to provide the additional funds required to make these immersive experiences possible. Harvard Bound! ❤️🎓
Stivers School for the Arts senior, Chloe Ryan, has officially committed to Harvard University to major in Government with a focus on Public Policy and a minor in Educational Studies after being accepted to several prestigious universities.
Chloe is also a 2026 Coca-Cola scholar and served as the Vice President on the Superintendent's Student Senate.
We are beyond proud of Chloe and cannot wait to see her success beyond DPS!

15+ years later, 3 multi-disciplinary Stivers School for the Arts - Dayton, OH alums Zuri Ali, Tobi Ewing & Jamaal Durr, are the featured artists in an amazing exhibit at the Kennedy Heights Art Center in Cincinnati, OH!
Your support of the students and the visual and performing arts programs at Stivers extends far beyond the 4 walls of the school. It is the first step in allowing so many to pursue their artistic aspirations! 🎨 🖼️ ✨

It is a great source of pride when we witness our Stivers School for the Arts - Dayton, OH students serving in the community using their unique talents and gifts!
The goal and vision for this year’s MLK DAY Concert was to journey through history WITH the Arts! ❤️ From current students to alumni spanning several decades, their individual performing and visual art contributions were profound ⭐️ and deeply appreciated by all!

2025 was filled with pride and joy as we celebrated the many accomplishments and achievements of the students at Stivers School for the Arts - Dayton, OH. This year was also marked with great sorrow as we loss two amazing individuals that were a part of our Seedling family and community.
Jon Sebaly was a beloved, committed board member for many years, guiding us with his infinite wisdom and a heart for the arts.
Karen Wick is the very reason why many of you know who and what Seedling is. Joining us year after year every February for “Savor Your Sundays,” experiencing the amazing cuisine and hospitality from
Karen and her one of a kind staff at Coco's Bistro, while enjoying art and student performances in a beautiful space.
As we stand on the heels of a new year, we take a moment to honor them and the legacy and impact they left within and outside of the Seedling Foundation. ❤️
