We had another successful orientation & SNT yesterday afternoon, led by NSLS representative, Lizette Reed! What a great cohort!

Orientation #1 was a success last night! Our national chapter leader, Lizette Reed, flew in from Massachusetts and led orientation and then co-led an SNT with our SNT coordinator, Marcia Nehring. We are looking forward to Orientation #2 this afternoon. Here are some pictures from group 1.

It has come to my attention that a few individuals were not properly recognized at tonight's induction. This was 100 percent my mistake and I take the blame for that one as leaders we need to recognize when we make those mistakes and learn from them and tonight was my mistake. To all those who were missed, I truly apologize for this and it was not done on purpose by any means. I hope you all can accept this apology as I feel terrible about the situation and hope you can accept this apology email.

I am excited to announce our new advisor for the fall 2021 semester!

Crystal Ford Bingle is the Coordinator of Student Engagement at Sinclair Community College, Dayton OH campus. As a seasoned professional with more than 15 years of experience in both higher education and nonprofit work, she pours her heart and passion into making a difference and hopes for a positive impact in the lives of others. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication studies, music minor at Berea College, Berea, KY; first Master of Arts degree in Public Administration with an Arts Management concentration from the College of Charleston, SC; and her second Master of Arts degree in College Student Development with emphasis on Student Affairs and Service-Learning from Appalachian State University, Boone, NC.

Crystal has developed numerous leadership and service programs over the years, engaging both domestic and international campus and community populations. In addition, she has been known as a mentor, encourager, and transformative educator throughout her years in practice. Along with her professional ambitions, Crystal is proud to be a loving wife and bonus mom. She floods every aspect of her life with love and kindness, along with an openness to grow in wisdom. Her motto is to “be like the water that flows, moving forward and embracing opportunities as they arise. Do not be the rock that remains unmoved, feeling the water crashing all around, unable to embrace the changing of the tides that flow.”
