Are you a nursing student looking for a way to stand out and gain real-world clinical experience this summer? 🩺🇺🇸
The Army ROTC Nurse Summer Training Program (NSTP) is a paid, 3-to-4-week clinical elective designed exclusively for our nursing Cadets.
Instead of just shadowing, NSTP puts you right in the action. You will be assigned to a major Army hospital in the U.S. or overseas (locations include Hawaii, Germany, and more!) where you will work one-on-one with an experienced Army Nurse.
During NSTP, you will:
🔹 Gain over 120 hours of hands-on, direct clinical experience.
🔹 Sharpen essential nursing skills like IV insertions, charting, patient assessments, and medication administration.
🔹 Experience the daily life and leadership responsibilities of an Army Nurse Corps officer.
Don't just read about nursing leadership—practice it. Send our page a message or email [email protected] for more information.

Are you looking for a way to pay for college, build an impressive resume, and gain unparalleled leadership experience? 🎓
The Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP) with Wright State University Army ROTC allows you to do exactly that. Through the SMP, students can serve in the Army National Guard or Army Reserve WHILE simultaneously participating in the Raider Army ROTC program!
It is the ultimate way to get a head start on your military career while enjoying a traditional college experience here at Wright State.
Here are the top reasons to consider the SMP route:
Maximize Financial Aid 💵 - Stack your Guard/Reserve tuition assistance, drill pay, GI Bill, and ROTC stipend to significantly reduce or eliminate college debt.
Unmatched Experience 🛠️ - Drill with a local unit once a month, shadowing real Army Officers and learning how to lead before you even graduate.
Time in Service 📈 - Start the clock on your military career now! You accrue Time in Service (TIS) for pay and retirement while completing your degree.
Non-Deployable Status 🛡️ - Focus on your studies. SMP Cadets are in a non-deployable status while completing their degree and ROTC requirements.
Ready to take the next step toward becoming a commissioned officer?
