Grades 9th-12th -- 4-H Study Abroad in Belize!

Looking for something a little different this winter? Our enrichment program gives kids the chance to explore global agriculture, experience another culture, develop leaderships skills, and gain a broader understanding of the world around them.

$2500 for the trip. This does not include airfare and passport fees. this does cover lodging, transportation in Belize, and meals.

We are excited to announce an opportunity to visit and learn from three agritourism operations. The second Exploring Agritourism for Your Farm: On-farm Insights will take place on September 17, 2026, from 8 am to 6 pm CDT. This tour will involve three stops in Kentucky that will give insight into several aspects of agritourism, including value-added product marketing, on-farm retail, farm tours, special events and food service.

• Chaney’s Dairy Barn
• Jackson’s Orchard

Participants will meet a bus in Cross Plains, TN (Sumner County). We will travel together to network and learn along the way with educational presentations and facilitated discussions.

Registration is $45 per person. Scholarships available for dairy producers. Lunch and ice cream will be provided. Registration is required for this event and space is limited!

This event will fulfill one Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program (TAEP) Producer Diversification educational requirement for the following Producer Diversification sectors: Agritourism, Fruits and Vegetables, and Value-Added.

Join the UT Extension Eastern Region for a fun weekend of sewing sessions focused on quilting, connections with a mentor, and service projects!

📅Thursday, February 11th-Saturday February 13th
📍Carson Spring Baptist Conference Center
Newport,TN

We are so excited to announce that a 100 dollar schloarships will be applied to each youth camper who participates so that each camp fee is only $250!

Ages: 6th-12th graders who know how to operate a sewing machine and who can sew a 1/4 inch inseam.

Registeration deadline is Monday January 11th. Spots are limited so be sure to register early!

Thursday, September 17th will be the first meeting for the Rhea County 4-H Homeschool Club. This program is designed for Homeschool students in Rhea County in grades 4th-12th.

Program will meet at the Rhea County Extension Office from 12:00-1:00PM.

Calling all Tennessee 4-H youth in grades 4–12 (as of January 1, 2026)! Join us for a fun, virtual opportunity to learn about the fascinating world of insects and beekeeping, led by Lynne Middleton!

This project group will be beginner-friendly, with opportunities to work toward some intermediate-level outcomes along the way.

The State 4-H Office is excited to announce the Creative Arts and Design Virtual Project Group. Do you love making paper crafts, painting, or pottery?

Youth in grades 6-8 are invited to join the State 4-H Office for an exciting virtual project group meetings. This project group will be held October-April on Zoom from 7-8pm.
