St. John's ESOL School - MVCTC The ESOL Program at St. John's UCC provides free English language classes to adults in the Dayton, Ohio area. Computer lab is available 8:30- 9:30 AM every day.

Classes are held Monday through Friday 9:00AM- 12:00PM. Other supplemental classes are offered throughout the week. The ESOL Program, formerly known as the International School, at St. John's UCC provides adults with a warm, caring place in which to increase their English language. We have been helping students to increase the skills needed to live and work in their community for nearly three deca

des. The program teaches reading, writing, listening, and speaking. ESOL classes meet from 9:30 - 11:45 AM Monday through Friday. All of our teachers volunteer their time to promote a learning environment. If you are interested in learning more about volunteering with the ESOL program, please contact the program coordinator. We have 5 levels of English classes: Level 0 - Level 4/5. Other supplemental classes include:

Monday - Friday: 8:30 - 9:30 AM - Early Literacy Class
Mondays: 12:00 - 1:00 PM - Conversation Club
Wednesdays: 12:00 - 2:00 PM - Citizenship Class
Thursdays: 12:00 - 2:00 PM - Employability classes
Tues/Wed/Thurs - 12:00 - 1:30 PM - GED class

Dayton Public Schools are closed tomorrow (January 9), so St. John's is required to remain closed as well. We are very sorry for the continued inconvenience. Hopefully, we will be open on Friday for registrations.

Join us on April 22 (Orientation on April 23) OR April 24 (Orientation on April 25) at 9:00am to enroll in our program!

Please note: Registration will take about 2 hours, please bring a valid photo ID. We will not accept new students after 10:00am.
