Mayor Jeffrey Mims,Mayor of Dayton, OH, presented a Proclamation to Resurrection School at the Centurion celebration event. He declared December 7 as Resurrection School Day that will be set in Dayton's history books. Fr. Tom Stricker gave an excellent speech about the school's history. There were many past alumnus who came out to support the 100 year event. Kudos to St. Benedict the Moor, Mary Queen of Peace, and Resurrection School for continuing education in West Dayton on Gramont Avenue.

Ending the last week of school with 3 recommendation ceremonies-Pre-K, Kindergartners, Grade 8-St. Benedict the Moor students advance to new life experiences. PreK students and their teachers gave a pre- Halloween preview of their outfits. Students (106) who have been on-track with discipline, school assignments, reading scores, and math scores were awarded with an afternoon of skating and games. Keep on striving and pushing students for continued awards! Those who didn't participate do better in quarter 2 so that you can be part of the fun. Read more, study more, and behave in the classroom for achieving success will get you on-track.
