Attention Fairview Families!

Due to the extremely cold temperatures and negative wind chill expected tomorrow morning, students will not have school on Tuesday, January 20th.

However, all Dayton Public Schools employees should still report to their buildings as usual.

At this time, we plan for all athletic events to continue as scheduled if the weather improves.

Stay safe and warm, and we will see students on Wednesday.

Attention Fairview Families!!!

The district is closed tomorrow, Monday, December 15th, due to poor weather conditions. This is due to the anticipated single-digit temperatures with wind chill below zero, along with uncleared side streets that will make it unsafe for students and buses.

This means all schools and district buildings are closed. No students are to report. Those employees identified as essential personnel should report at their regular start time or as soon as safety allows.

All extracurricular school activities and field trips are canceled. More information will be communicated soon regarding whether athletic events will still take place.

Friendly Reminder

As a reminder, students do not have school next week, Monday, November 24th-Friday, November 28th.

The district is closed on Thursday, the 27th, and Friday, the 28th in observance of Thanksgiving.

Students return to school on Monday, December 1st.
