Our Pre-k class had a butter-tastic morning! 🧈✨

Today, we made homemade butter and learned how something as simple as heavy cream can turn into butter with a little hard work and teamwork. The children loved taking turns shaking the jars and watching the transformation happen right before their eyes!

As we enjoyed our fresh butter, we talked about all the different ways families use butter every day—from toast and pancakes to baking cookies, cooking vegetables, and making our favorite meals. This activity helped build fine motor skills, patience, cooperation, and an understanding of where our food comes from.

Hands-on experiences like this make learning meaningful, memorable, and so much fun! We are so proud of our little learners and can't wait to see what they discover next. 💛
