A long overdue to "Thank you" to my friend Mariann Hunt! Mariann gifted me (well, my flute George) with some beautiful barrel bling! I think he looks pretty handsome. Do you agree?

It's that time of year again.....OFMC Festival time! Cheering on my students as they prepare and perform for the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs Festival held on March 14th. They've worked hard learning their songs and I'm super proud of they have accomplished! They've got this!

Today is Love Your Pet Day! Actually, isn't every day? Love this little girl!

A huge "thank you" to Rebecca Andres, former principal of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, for an excellent masterclass! We thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon of learning, fun, and inspiration! We look forward to putting all of the great information to use as we continue to practice and grow our flute skills!

My trio has been working on The Moldau by Smetana arranged by Linda Younce for an upcoming performance. Imagine my surprise (and delight!) when I received our newest orchestra piece at rehearsal last night! Yes!

My yesterday.....as a daughter, mom, teacher, and flutist. Up early to take my mom to a doctor's appointment and mailed Valentines trinkets to my kids at college. Coffee! Quick change to look more professional before starting my teaching day. Got in some solid practice time! More teaching. Dinner and then off to orchestra rehearsal. In bed by 10:15 to snuggle with my fur babies!
