We have a few of our Texas 5000 queens and some Golden Cordovan queens available. If you need a queen, come on in while we still have them!

Are you looking to grow your apiary? Our Summer Splits Class is coming up on Saturday, June 21! Learn how to effectively and safely split your hives with an experienced beekeeper! This class covers all the basics of making splits, both inside the classroom and in an apiary. Topics covered for this fascinating class include: ordering queens for your split, how to prepare your hive to split, hive strength requirements for splitting, making the split, feeding afterwards, post-split care, queen acceptance and more.

Please bring your own gloves, suit and veil. If you do not have protective equipment we have some to loan you for the class.

Class is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

This position offers 20 to 28 hours per week with opportunities to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by warmly interacting with visitors and answering their inquiries.
- Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently to complete transactions.
- Ensure the store is well-organized and stocked by handling inventory and shelving merchandise.
- Re-pack, sort, and attach pricing labels to products with attention to detail.
- Assist in answering phone calls professionally and addressing customer needs.
- Prepare and ship orders promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Help set up the classroom on designated class days for a seamless experience.
- Offer basic guidance on beekeeping, including care, maintenance, and equipment usage.
- Take on additional duties as needed to support team success.
