Dayton High School Bronco Blooms

Today some of our students attended the Silsbee Y2K Floral Contest. Teams were given 1 hour to execute the throwback theme! Lacie and Savannah placed 3rd out of 30 teams! Lacie was also chosen by one of the Silsbee Tiger Lilies to compete in a surprise contest, her and her partner placed 3rd again!

Arrangements have been dropped off at YMBL! This years theme was “Reflections”, and these girls knocked it out of the park!

This week a few of our members competed in the Angelina County Fair Cup, where they had to design a surprise theme, which was Fairies! We are so proud of them!

Today we ended HLSR with the Dining Duets contest! Today’s theme was St. Patrick’s Day, and these ladies came up with some awesome arrangements!!

What a great day our Bronco Blooms had at the HLSR Horticulture Contests yesterday! We had members compete in four different categories with great success. We are so proud of their hard work and creativity!!

Savannah Ballinger was 4th place out of 100 in Rodeo Cup where she had to create 3 different arrangements all within 1 hour and 45 minutes!

Wesley Salas and Danielle Smith placed 10th out of 40 in the Miniscapes contest, where they created their 4th of July on the Beach landscape in a water trough! It is on display until the end of the rodeo outside of NRG Center by the pig races.

Today a few of our students traveled to Diboll to compete in the HHS Floral Nest Cup. They had 45 minutes to complete a sympathy design, and we judged on floral elements and principles. Mrs. Wagner also took home 2nd place in the teacher division! Florals heal all🌸

Advanced floral students rolled out their designs for this months Bronco Blooms arrangement of the month club! They were so excited to do something a little different and they nailed it!

This week we were proudly represented by three teams at the Maroon Blooms Floral Extravaganza where our teams had one and a half hours to plan and execute a tablescape for the theme Feast of Fright! We are so proud of their continuous work towards their craft and the creativity they showed!!

Today we had three of our students drop off arrangements for the Texas Rice Festival!! This years theme was Fall in South East Texas. 🍁

Our first arrangements of the 24-25 AOTM Club went out today! We are so exited for this year and to watch our floral experience bloom! 🌸

Today we had 6 teams proudly represent Bronco Blooms at a Dolly Parton inspired floral contest! Congratulations to Chesnie and Lacie for placing 5th out of 50 teams!
