The University of Dayton Magazine featured several Core students in their summer edition. Here is 5 Questions with Jules Carr-Chellman. He is a two time McGrath Award Winner. He discusses his Philosophy major and how Philosophy influenced his award winning papers.

Congratulations to Jakob Burdick who was selected as a Newman Civic Fellow! The Newman Civic Fellowship is a year long program that focuses on student public issue problem solvers. See the link for more information about Jakob and the Fellowship.

UD political science major named Newman Civic Fellow Jakob Burdick has been honored for his work as a voting rights and civic engagement advocate in the Dayton community.

On April 7th, Core hosted our annual graduation ceremony in the KU Ballroom. This year, we had 68 students graduate from Core. Congratulations to the graduates!

On Friday, March 15th, 12 Core students went to see Hadestown at the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center. They had a great time and shared a selfie from the event.

The Core program would like to extend our congratulations to Jules Carr-Chellman, Alexandra Amrhein, and Zachary O'Connor for winning the 2024 Fr. Jack McGrath, S.M. Award for Research in Catholic Intellectual Traditions Award. Three of the six winners were Core students. Great job!
