Students in Mr. Phillips's Foundations of Engineering Technology class have been working on laser manufacturing. They painted a 10 x 10 picture and then developed that into a puzzle using light burn software. Then, they used laser to precision cut the painted material and create a puzzle. Their finished products turned out great!

It was great to kickoff college football season with our students and staff today! Our staff also enjoyed a popcorn and soda treat!🍿

Time for our weekly perfect attendance drawing! All students who were present and on time each day for the week were included in the drawing. This week 496 students had PERFECT ATTENDANCE!

There will be a swim interest meeting on Thursday, Sept, 10 at 6:00 in the Dawson County Middle School cafeteria. This is open for 6th-12th graders. Please plan to join us to learn more about the swim team and to get some of your questions answered!!! You don't have to be a great swimmer to join our team but will need to be committed to working hard!

Easton Martin, 9th grade Dairy Team Member, and current FFA President for the DCJH chapter, took home first place honors in his showmanship class at the Chattooga County Fair yesterday! He was awarded a first place ribbon, and a brand new belt buckle for this accomplishment. He also took home 3rd place in weight class, with his Holstein heifer named Karen. We are very proud of the hard work he puts in and the way that he represents DCJH FFA!
