Colman Kook, Damian Ahrens, and Mike Knakal are in Washington, D.C. this week, taking part in the Herzog Foundation’s Spiritual Development Conference.

They’re diving into the Herzog Institute’s Spiritual Formation training—a program designed to help school leaders put spiritual growth at the heart of their schools. The training goes beyond academics, offering hands-on strategies to weave spiritual development into everything from daily routines to school mission statements. It’s a chance for leaders to take a closer look at how their school’s policies shape students and to ensure every part of school life supports the growth of well-rounded, spiritually grounded students.

Mr. Caleb Felber was recently named “2026 Teacher of the Year” by the Michigan department of the American Legion. He was presented with this award at the Michigan department’s banquet. Congratulations, Mr. Felber… we are proud of your accomplishments and for your love for our nation’s veterans!
