Wednesday is next!

Sammie came in to show us the ropes on a Surgical Technician! Each student got the opportunity to fully scrub in for surgery on our wonderful axolotl stuffy!

Tuesday was a busy day!

Sarah Conner, a registered dietician, came in to teach us all about “always” and “sometimes” food! Going over the rainbow of foods and which one helps/heals your body. Finishing off the morning with a yummy fruit salad and popcorn!

In the afternoon, Brianna from VAAA came in to teach us about her job as a Social worker and helping the elderly find resources. Gifting each child a back pack with a coloring page and colored pencils!

Thank you SO much ladies for coming out and teaching us about your important roles in the community!
