Calling first-year students (freshmen and transfers)
A CAES college-wide workgroup is hoping to learn more about your experiences and stories of students in your first year at Davis. They want to hear about your experience whether you came straight from high school, transferred from a community college, had your first-year in-person or were online! The valuable feedback that you share will help improve programs and access to resources for future first-year students.
Make your voices heard! Improve the college transition for future Aggies!
This focus group will meet via Zoom on Monday, May 17th from 3-4pm. Selected participants will receive a $5 Amazon gift card in appreciation of their time. If you are interested, please see the attached flyer and complete the following Google Form: https://forms.gle/hYa4e981stuh6ZFL6

Anti-Asian racism and anti-Asian sentiments can't be ignored. Hate has no place here. Aggies, please help spread the word that resources are available:
*Speak to a crisis counselor by calling SHCS at 530-752-0871 and pressing 0
*Asian Pacific Islander Retention Initiative: https://apiretention.ucdavis.edu
*Cross Cultural Center: https://ccc.ucdavis.edu/resources/community-resources
*Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: https://diversity.ucdavis.edu/resources-racial-trauma
If you are wondering what you can do in support of our API community, you can also be an "UPSTANDER." Three things you can do to stand up against acts of hate, bias and bigotry:
1) Intervene
2) Delegate
3) Distract
