Annual Day of Silence calls attention to LGBT discrimination Day of Silence is a widespread demonstration that students across the nation participate in to raise awareness about the silencing effects of discrimination that LGBT students deal with. The Davis High Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is organizing the event at DHS, which will take place on April 15.

Hey guys,
Come join us in L-20 Wednesday at lunch for another poster committee meeting. Supporters of the DHS LGBT community will be getting together to make posters on LGBT topics. It's fun, social, and for a good cause. We'll be meeting every Wednesday at lunch from now on. Come by and check it out!

Hello to all,

I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable break! I am extremely proud of what we all accomplished together this past year, and I hope you all will continue to join us throughout the second semester. We will continue to meet every other Friday during lunch in L-20. Listen for us in the announcements!

I look forward to seeing you all at our first general meeting next Friday, 1/15. We will be talking about No Name-Calling Week (1/18-1/22) and more. Expect treats as always.

Also, don't forget to come this Wednesday, 1/6 during lunch in L-20 to join Ava and your fellow GSA members in our Poster Committee (for our new GSA designated wall!). If you have decent poster making skills and want to help out the GSA in raising awareness for the LGBT+ community, come join us for our first meeting!

Lastly....our t-shirts are here, and they look AMAZING (thanks Skyler for the design!)!!! Get them before they're gone. They are open for purchase by any of our members for only $12, every Friday in during lunch in L-20. Rock these tees around school and beyond to support the club, and look awesome!
