The Department of Mathematics is currently home to 4 undergraduate majors and 2 graduate programs. We are a very dynamic department with many distinguished faculty, lecturers, postdocs, and visiting scholars. Each are extensively involved in teaching lower and upper division mathematics courses, and each are committed to providing firsthand knowledge and experience so that all students may achieve
their goals after graduation. Here within the Department, we're helpful and inclusive. We are small enough to provide personal attention to enhance one's own background and training, yet we have all the options, opportunities, and world-class facilities that come with being part of a large research university. From the hundreds of of student clubs to career advising to academic and social activities, the opportunities are exceedingly diverse. Whether within our Department or on the campus, there is an organization or activity for almost any interest you might have.
