We’d like to welcome our newest addition to The Nexus Team, Jackie Teran! Here’s what Jackie has to say about her treatment approach:
“I’m passionate about supporting individuals navigating anxiety, stress, shame, and life transitions, while also acknowledging the profound impact of systemic oppression and harmful social narratives on mental health and well-being. I work with people of all ages who may feel unseen, overwhelmed, or disconnected. I also hold space for those unlearning body oppression, tending to disordered eating and honoring the wisdom in survival. At the heart of my work is a relational, person-centered approach. I integrate somatic and mindfulness-based practices, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive, affirming therapy.
My practice is rooted in the belief that healing is both personal and collective, shaped not only by our inner worlds but also by the external forces we move through. Together, we’ll challenge internalized narratives, reconnect with your strengths, and explore possibilities for reclaiming agency and self-compassion in ways that honor your lived experience.
If you’re seeking a space where your full humanity is welcome and where the work of healing is done with care, curiosity, and respect for the complex realities of your life, I would be honored to connect with you.”
If Jackie’s words resonate with you, head to our website through the link in our bio to inquire about booking a session!

This is Dion🧘♀️() she is currently hosting her Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) Mind Your Body class every Tuesday at The Nexus Station🌿🌟 Here is a little bit about how she describes her practice:
I help support folks who are interested in bringing their bodies into the process of healing, recovery and connection. One way I do this is by offering TCTSY (Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga), which is an evidence-based adjunct treatment for complex trauma and chronic stress. Every shape, transition and rhythmic movement is offered by invitation, and becomes a pathway to explore choice and empowerment, which can lead to regaining a sense of agency. I like to say that it’s an opportunity to have a conversation with your body, to become friends again (or for the very first time) with your body.
I love how this practice is relational, we are each moving and breathing individually and having our own experiences but doing so in community together.
