After 20 years of service, Marine Corps veteran Gordon Silliker is turning a longtime passion for homebrewing into a new career.

As a recipient of the Michael and Sheila Lewis Scholarship in Brewing, Gordon is now studying in the UC Davis Master Brewers Certificate Program to gain the science, skills and industry connections needed to launch his next chapter in craft b**r.

“I'm ecstatic to finally see this journey materialize,” he says.
