At the end of a service for PA in King Hall’s courtyard, two ducks flew out of the courtyard and over the wall adjacent to PA’s office. In mid-air, one of the ducks left some droppings. First, PA’s previous employer is the University of Oregon (a.k.a. the ducks). Second, in PA’s final work, he features himself flying away. Third, the droppings resulted in laughter, exactly what PA would have wanted.
