Is your RSO applying for a ticketed event? 😮
A ticketed event is any event that charges an admission or registration, this includes publication fees 🎟️ An important thing to keep in mind is that in order to receive funding from CFC, ticketed events are to break even, NOT fundraiser or make a profit. The first grant highlight for Spring Quarter 🤩
Today we are highlighting Sigma Alpha. They used CFC’s travel grant to pay for their flights, hotel and registration fees for their sorority conference! ✈️

Happy Spring Quarter! 🤩🌸
Spring Quarter CFC office hours start today!! This quarter we will be having in-person and virtual office hours! Additionally, you can request a virtual meeting during in-person office hours if necessary. Scheduled intake meetings will take priority during office hours but this time is also meant for you to come and ask us questions about the application process or about the items in your application. There’s no appointment needed to attend general office hours prior to submitting your application, but you can email [email protected] for the scheduling link if you would like to ensure a board member is available to meet with you. Please note that intake meetings, on the other hand, which must be completed AFTER you submit an application, are appointment only.

Today’s past grant highlight is ECLIPSE Rocketry 🚀
They were able to use CFC funds for travel and rocket component expenses! They represented UC Davis in the NASA Student Launch.
