The Davis Computer Science Club (DCSC) organizes and connects UC Davis students interested in the field of computer science. We cultivate the professional development of our members, connect them with other fellow passionate students, and present new opportunities to apply computer science in novel ways.

Have you been working on an independent coding project outside of the classroom?🧠

If so, this is the platform for you! Get your coding project commented on and reviewed through presentation format by professor Butner and Porquet‼️

If selected you will be given 8 minutes to go over your project and then be given feedback. Each Professor will select their favorite project at the end of the event. 🥳

Apply through the google form by Wednesday the 19th to see if your project has been selected. You can find the link in our bio 😙

🔹 DCSC is recruiting students to join our sub teams.
🔹The sub teams for which we are recruiting are technical sub team and marketing sub team.
🔹 If this is something you are interested in, feel free to fill out the link on our bio.
🔹 The link also has details about what each sub team is about.
🔹 If you have any doubts, drop a message here or you can your doubt on discord.
🔹 After fully submitting the form, you should expect to hear back from us through the DCSC email in a few weeks.

💠 After presentation, there will be a A&A panel where you can ask about career opportunities too.
💠 Also free pizza and refreshments for attendees so make sure you RSVP soon.

⚠️ DATE CHANGE ⚠️ The HMP Bikes Event is now postponed to Tuesday (11/22/22) due to the protests.

Come on down to Walker Hall this Tuesday for an opportunity to Q&A an engineering Davis alumni and founder of HMP Bikes https://www.hmpbikes.com. This manufacturing store located in downtown Davis is dedicated to sustainability and pocket friendly vehicles. Learn about internship opportunities, take a test drive on an electric moped, or just drop by to learn about how this company came to be!

Hosted by DCSC and IEEE, visit Walker Hall 1310 from 6:30-7:30 PM on 11/22/2022 Tuesday to check it out.
Open to all majors in addition to CS and EE interested students

Thank you to everyone who came out to our EOY Banquet!! Special thanks to our student presenters for your amazing presentations.

We wanted to again offer congratulations to our winners for Professor of the Year and TA of the Year for 2021 - 2022

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to make this year of virtual learning possible. We are so fortunate to have such amazing CS faculty members at UC Davis.

Congratulations to Professor Matthew Butner for being voted CS Professor of the Year!

Congratulations to Michael Livanos, Noah Rose Ledesma, and Arvind Baskar for being voted as CS TA of the Year!
