Final days of Happy Hour!

This gorgeous poster was designed by my son, Ray. I explained my vision, sent him pictures, and he delivered. The bands of color are 360 of the art squares I created for the year 2025. (The last five didn’t fit the design.)

The poster, as well as several works large and small, are still available. Stop by The Artery before Monday, March 2.

Happy Valentine’s Day!💌

Organized Chaos in red, yellow & blue.

That’s the title of the triptych that inspired the color scheme for Happy Hour.

The black and white background started as one large piece of paper that I painted with black acrylic. That paper was then cut into three equal pieces, and cut again into two-inch squares. The colored papers, all from gel plate prints, were cut into strips and arranged on top of the black and white squares to form a “woven” pattern. Many steps and layers involved in creating these pieces.

Organized Chaos in red, yellow, and blue are available at the Artery, 207 G Street now through the end of the month.

Happy Hour is officially live!

The show runs from February 6 through March 2 with the reception happening Friday, February 13 at the Artery in Davis.

Happy Hour opens this Friday, February 6 and runs until Monday, March 2. Reception is Friday, February 13 from 6 - 9 pm.

First solo show of 2026 is happening next month!

365 days of art are packed into 41 boxes. Each daily square has been signed, matted, and framed for Happy Hour, my show at The Artery in Davis, California next month.

In addition to Project 365 2025, I have 3 new paintings, each 24 x 24 inches, which is my largest size to date.
