Baja SAE is a competition that challenges university students to design and compete with a baja based vehicle against other colleges in order to achieve approval for manufacture by a fictitious firm. Baja SAE provides real-world challenges that students must overcome. Some of these challenges could include rock crawling, hill climb, and even water events. Students must function as a team to not on
ly design, build, test, promote, and race a vehicle within the limits of the rules, but also to generate financial support for their project and manage their educational priorities. As the student run UCD Baja team, we must overcome these challenges and compete successfully!
