Our vehicle's name is Pappy and it got 12th place overall, 9th in the Women's Speed event, 7th in the Men's Speed event, and 8th in the Endurance event.
We are a group of students from UC Davis who design and fabricate a human powered vehicle to compete
The Human Powered Vehicle Team at UC Davis is a student engineering group whose goal is to design an aerodynamic and highly engineered land vehicle. Designing, fabricating, and racing a human powered vehicle is a challenging and rewarding experience for students at UC Davis. We had a blast today! We were super stoked to meet everyone.
We got a good amount of people who were interested in joining the team, and hope to see them all at our first meeting.
Meeting will be next Thursday at 6PM, location TBA!
Today is the annual School of Engineering Ice Cream Social. This is the event where new engineering students at UC Davis can explore what engineering clubs and teams our campus offers.
The event is held at the Kemper courtyard from 2:30 - 4 PM.
We are super stoked to meet everyone!

Had a great time at the Explorit Science Center today for their Final Blast science festival!
It was great to see so many kids enthusiastic about science and was really awesome to see them having so much fun!!

These are photos from our 2014-2015 year. Our vehicle was called the Swagcycle and we made it to competition and got 14th out of approx. 30 entries in the endurance portion of the competition!
