Join the Steel Bridge Design Team EVERY Monday, 6 PM @ 3026 Bainer Hall to learn 3D modeling through SolidWorks!

SolidWorks is a 3D Modeling software equipped with powerful design functionality and efficiency, alongside embedded structural design and model analysis. Get experience and learn skills within structural and bridge design that are excellent for internships and critical within industry.

No experience is needed so join the Steel Bridge team as we learn, practice, and prepare to design a 1st place winning bridge!

The winning teams of the 2021 Student Steel Bridge Supplemental Competition will be announced Friday, April 16th, at 3pm CDT (that's 1pm PST!!!). Swing by to the virtual event at the link in the calendar invite below!!!

Hey All! Steel Bridge will be having a fundraiser this Thursday Nov 15th from 5-8 pm at Blaze Pizza! Bring a flyer and eat some pizza to show your support!

Great to see everyone that came out to the Steel Bridge social for one last hurrah! As our season winds down, we hope everyone has a great summer and look forward to seeing you guys again in the Fall!

It was a great time getting out and competing with our sister Steel Bridge teams. Cheers to our construction team for blowing their personal best time out of the water despite the hot metal and blinding sun, we're so proud of you! Thanks to everyone who took the time off from work and school to help represent UC Davis Steel Bridge Team at Chico State. You guys brought the camaraderie to the party and it made it a blast.

“Proud” is too small a word to describe our elation at finding out that our own Carlene Chow received this amazing award. Her involvement in Steel Bridge was nothing short of divine intervention; always there when we needed her, even when she didn’t have to be. Over the past year, Carlene has been an irreplaceable axis for which we all have turned; without her we would not have a bridge to our Steel Bridge Club. She gave her time and energy, not only to the project, but also to the people around her, motivating us to keep moving forward onto our own personal achievement. Though absolutely overjoyed at this news, we can not say we are surprised: Carlene Chow is an amazing student, project manager, and just overall human on this earth. We have no doubt in her merits and that she still has greater things yet to come.
