About the Happiness Project:
The Happiness Project is a student run organization at UC Davis that strives to promote practices such as self-care and mindfulness, and to ultimately improve holistic health in the university setting and beyond. Our goals are to also provide resources, to build community within our meetings, and to explore positive and healthy coping mechanisms that students can incorporate into their everyday lifestyles. Using text and ideas from The Happiness Project book by Gretchen Rubin, we explore themes of self-love, self-care, academic/work balance, personal relationships, spirituality, creative coping, and more. Each meeting is facilitated with activities and workshops to engage in mindfulness and improving self-care, as well as check-ins with personal progress.
DISCLAIMER: Meetings are not to be used as a substitute for group therapy and clinical services.
