It has been a great week!
📱Since school started we have been gently reminding students of the new cell phone policy and asking them to please put it away during class and passing periods 📱
✔️Please note that starting Tuesday, you maybe be asked to hand over your phone to be locked in the office for the remainder of the day because of continual phone use.
✔️Save up your phone time for lunch when it is an approved electronics time
💛Let’s all work together to stay consistent with the new phone expectations💛

🦅 families will follow the bell schedule to go to your student’s classes for a quick into from each of their teachers

Eagles! Interested In a fall sport?
Our awesome and talented coaches are getting ready for practice to start next week!
Use the QR codes below to sign up on the google form or come to the Emerson office.
We want to let the coaches know you are interested so if you want to participate in girls 7th and 8th grade volleyball or Co-Ed cross country you need to sign up AND fill out all the online paperwork available on the Emerson Website! Don’t forget you need a current (as of June 1,2022) physical signed by a doctor in order to participate!

Today was a good day!
It was so wonderful to see all of our students and staff excited for the first day of school!
Thank you to PTA for the lovely chalk messages on the way into school today to help brighten all of our days

🦅 Hall lockers will most likely be assigned by the end of the week
🦅Don’t forget to sign up in the office if you are interested in playing girls 7th or 8th grade Volleyball or Co-Ed Cross Country
🦅All students can eat free breakfast and lunch daily
🦅ChromeBooks will be available Wednesday in Eagle Tech (behind the library) from 8:30-10:30 for students that do not already have theirs. Please let your teacher know if you need to get one.

DHS FFA rocks!
Thank you all for making your visit to the Emerson campus such a learning experience for us all! We learned about why pigs have ear notches and got to spend some time with the animals after the in class lessons! 🐷🐮🐷🐮🐷🐮🐷🐮🐷🐮🐷🐮🐷🐮

Today was a good day to celebrate our campus supervisor Al who has been working at Emerson for a long long time. We wish him well and lots of joy in his retirement! We surprised him today with a video montage as well as pictures of him the kids found in all the yearbooks of past!
